Waterbury Based Artist
Julia LeClair is an expressionist artist.
Her biggest passion is the ocean; her art derives from inner expression,
not careful planning: just painting and letting go.
His first exhibition titled “Water Bodies”
from April 8, 2023 to May 13, 2023
was very well received
at the Kellogg Environmental Center,
500 Hawthorne Avenue, Derby.
Julia added a new exhibit titled: “Bodies of Water 2”
For the month of July 2023 at the Waterbury Silas Bronson Library.
Julia studied fine arts in the Escuela de Artes Plasticas
in San Juan, Puerto Rico and
Graphic Design in Ringling College of Art,
in Sarasota, Florida.
She worked as a Graphic Designer/Art Director most of her life,
and created art in her spare time. Julia is now fully dedicated to fine arts,
painting, sculpting and body art (face painting and airbrush).
